Our Wonderful Years...

Over the course of the average lifetime you meet a lot of people. Some of them stick with you through thick and thin. Some weave their way through your life and disappear forever. But once in a while someone comes along who earns a permanent place in your heart.

Brown hair, brown eyes. When she smiled, I smiled. When she cried, I cried. Every single thing that happened to me that mattered, in some way, had to do with her. After all, she was my girl. And I knew that she understood that in some small way my achievements were her achievements.

Flim and Flam

Not to be confused with Fletsam and Jetsam (the evil eels from Disney's The Little Mermaid), I finally rode the tram at OHSU. When I started work, I could see the final construction details out my window and I promised myself I would ride it when it was nice out...that was in 2006. Then 2007 came and went and pretty soon all the nice days were gone and I still hadn't gone for my ride yet. Well, there's no time like the present!

Steven's Aunt Diane met me (She works up on the hill) for lunch and then we rode it up together. She gave me a little tour around the campus, we nearly hit a code blue button the elevator (which turned out to mean nothing, we were so disappointed, but laughing loudly) and then I came back down. That's when I snapped this little gem of a pic. Enjoy!
