Our Wonderful Years...

Over the course of the average lifetime you meet a lot of people. Some of them stick with you through thick and thin. Some weave their way through your life and disappear forever. But once in a while someone comes along who earns a permanent place in your heart.

Brown hair, brown eyes. When she smiled, I smiled. When she cried, I cried. Every single thing that happened to me that mattered, in some way, had to do with her. After all, she was my girl. And I knew that she understood that in some small way my achievements were her achievements.

Wedding!

So, the wedding was fabulous and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for coming and making our day so special. Here are the first few pics from people's cameras and our photographer. We don't have them all yet, but when we do, I'll have to get picassaweb or shutterfly or something to share them with everyone. Facebook just isn't cutting it. If you want my links to full rehearsal photos and honeymoon photos, email me for the facebook link.

Till then, here's a few of the ones we have:

Getting dressed upstairs in the 'brides' room:
What a good looking couple!

Steven getting all "men in black" with the bridesmaids! They are showing off their bling pearls, and yes yes, it all works.
This is me pulling up in the horse drawn carriage:
The girls waiting for me at the end of the aisle:
First Kiss! This is the tablescape...good looking centerpieces :) Also, notice the homemade jams and jellies that me, Mom and Auntie D spent a day in May making...people were stealin' them off the tables! (I know I would too...its good stuff!)
And the most fabulous cake ever. This doesn't even show the cheesecake we had too. Each layer was a different flavor. It has white chocolate ganache over top, with dark pink rose petals and chocolate covered strawberries. Yum!
Yeah, I'm owning that conga line!
The wedding was a tremendous success. Steven and I boogied our bottoms off, had great food and wine and the most excellent company ever!!!!
Thank you to everyone who could share it with us. We love you so much!
PS Photo credits to Peter Chee Photography and Tirzah Thorson...yeah, I stole them, but only beacuse you're so awesome. Forgive me?
