Our Wonderful Years...

Over the course of the average lifetime you meet a lot of people. Some of them stick with you through thick and thin. Some weave their way through your life and disappear forever. But once in a while someone comes along who earns a permanent place in your heart.

Brown hair, brown eyes. When she smiled, I smiled. When she cried, I cried. Every single thing that happened to me that mattered, in some way, had to do with her. After all, she was my girl. And I knew that she understood that in some small way my achievements were her achievements.

Internet...yay!

In the last two weeks, we've found an apartment, put our application in, got approved and moved. And I started a new job with a commute. Whew! We are finally all in here, most everything is put away...there are some exceptions in the extra bedroom, and I'm settled into my new job. Everything is hectic but well. I'm sorry I don't have any photos of the new place yet...but I have to locate my camera, take some photos and then upload them and then post them. I will do it soon, so stay posted.

In the meantime, know that we are happy and comfortable in our new home! We have a garage, space for our furniture and central air/heat. For the first time I feel like an adult, in an adult home with space to display so many of the nice things we got from the wedding. We are so blessed to have wonderful friends and family who helped us move, and also to have family that would come by on a whim and help out too (Thanks Uncle Jim and Aunt Jill!)... Also a big thanks to Chris and Darren, who helped move all the big stuff (and didn't complain), we owe you guys!
