Our Wonderful Years...

Over the course of the average lifetime you meet a lot of people. Some of them stick with you through thick and thin. Some weave their way through your life and disappear forever. But once in a while someone comes along who earns a permanent place in your heart.

Brown hair, brown eyes. When she smiled, I smiled. When she cried, I cried. Every single thing that happened to me that mattered, in some way, had to do with her. After all, she was my girl. And I knew that she understood that in some small way my achievements were her achievements.

An Easter Roundup...

Our Easter was spectacular this year! The food could not have been better and the company was superb as usual.

I have a few people who are always asking what we served, so here's a menu for anyone who is curious:

Beef Tenderloin with a brown sugar based rub
Green Beans sauteed with Garlic and Almonds
Plain Green Beans
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Iceberg Salad with Bleu Cheese, Candied Walnuts and Bacon Bits
Yeast and Potato Rolls with Jams and Jellies

We also had a pretty extensive appetizer spread with:
Pistachios
Veggies and dip
Pita Chips
Deviled Eggs

and these cookies (and lots of candy!):

Then for dessert we had cupcakes and Donna's Chocolate mousse with short bread cookies:
The chocolate mousse was a request of Dad, who had a birthday on Friday~
Love you Dad!On top of eating our way into a food coma, we also got a little wild and crazy with the Holiday Wii Bowling Tournament. What a fun day to spend with our Family!
