Our Wonderful Years...

Over the course of the average lifetime you meet a lot of people. Some of them stick with you through thick and thin. Some weave their way through your life and disappear forever. But once in a while someone comes along who earns a permanent place in your heart.

Brown hair, brown eyes. When she smiled, I smiled. When she cried, I cried. Every single thing that happened to me that mattered, in some way, had to do with her. After all, she was my girl. And I knew that she understood that in some small way my achievements were her achievements.

Reasons to be excited

Hi!

I'm really excited today, let me tell you why:

  • I'm having my trial hair and make up done at Dosha today! I've been thinking and I get a lot of ideas in my head that I usually have to play around with a bit to see them come to life in person, so I'm really looking forward to having a good idea of how things will look on the big day!
  • Speaking of the big day, only four weeks left! Oh my gosh, there are still some things left to do, but like Steven keeps telling me, "These people are professionals, let them do their job..."... I'm taking deep breaths and trying not to freak out about the florist not calling me back (Steven did point out, it is his busy season!)
  • Big weekend stuff planned up for the next couple of weeks: This weekend we'll be celebrating our THIRD anniversary (July 15th for the people who are counting) and Keith's birthday (our Best Man) on Sunday afternoon with a little BBQ. Steven and I have been saving a nice bottle of wine for the occasion. I can't wait to open it!

While there is so much stuff going on right now, I just can't help but have a huge smile on my face today. Also, the sun is shinning brightly...ahhhhh!
