Our Wonderful Years...

Over the course of the average lifetime you meet a lot of people. Some of them stick with you through thick and thin. Some weave their way through your life and disappear forever. But once in a while someone comes along who earns a permanent place in your heart.

Brown hair, brown eyes. When she smiled, I smiled. When she cried, I cried. Every single thing that happened to me that mattered, in some way, had to do with her. After all, she was my girl. And I knew that she understood that in some small way my achievements were her achievements.

Engagement Announcement...

We finally submitted our engagement announcement to the paper. The announcement will most likely be featured on next Saturday 4-12-08 in the Gresham Outlook.

You can access the online version at www.theoutlookonline.com under the "features" tab along the top of the website page.

I'm sorry we couldn't put an announcement in any Eugene/Springfield papers. The Register Guard will only let you submit an announcement if an immediate family member lives within their circulation. Since my parents have moved, it seems as if the Outlook is the only source.

I hope you can access it online, and I'm sure we'll scan the article and post it later.

Much Love,

Julie
