Our Wonderful Years...

Over the course of the average lifetime you meet a lot of people. Some of them stick with you through thick and thin. Some weave their way through your life and disappear forever. But once in a while someone comes along who earns a permanent place in your heart.

Brown hair, brown eyes. When she smiled, I smiled. When she cried, I cried. Every single thing that happened to me that mattered, in some way, had to do with her. After all, she was my girl. And I knew that she understood that in some small way my achievements were her achievements.

Happy Birthday Steven!

This post is dedicated to my sweet Husband!To celebrate Steven's birthday we took a long weekend trip to Seattle! We hit the iconic farmer's market at Pike Street.
We ate a cool brewery in the marketplace. It was awesome and we had the best dessert ever! We did a chocolate and beer tasting. Who would have thought to pair chocolate and beer together? There were three truffles, specially made for the brewery with their beer. Then they matched it with a sampler size of the beer to go with it. We cut the chocolates in half and shared the samples of beer. It was really good. I would love to do it again somewhere!And we walked pretty much all over downtown. More photos to come.

When we got home, Steven picked out his gift from me (and for the house), a new BBQ!
I insisted that the first thing we make be S'mores to test the side burner. They were delicious!
